Above: This photo is notable for the odd bell-shaped objects that are being worked on or used for some purpose.  They have a very shiny interior that reflects back the light source.  A vistor to this web page, Woodward Kirkman, emailed us and identified them as "spun parabolic reflectors for Locomotive Headlamps. Most people have only seen this item once it is installed, and never the side profile. Unless you've opened the side door to a headlamp to add some coal oil to the tank, you'd never guess the actual shape of the reflector. " Our thanks to Woodward for this information.
